Associated Tire Services, Inc. has been a proud member of the Baton Rouge community providing quality wholesale and retail tire sales and service to the people in the area for almost 20 years. Associated Tire Service was one of the thousands of victims of Hurricane Gustav when it made land fall along the coast Louisiana on the morning of September 1, 2008. Like so many other businesses and individuals in the Baton Rouge area, the property damage sustained by Associated Tire Services threatened to interrupt their operation for months.

Tom Clark, one of Associated Tire Services’ officers, contacted Babcock Partners to resolve a dispute with their own insurance company concerning reimbursement for damage repairs and reconstruction. For years, Associated Tire Services paid premiums to their insurer policies to protect the business in the event of loss, including loss of business, revenue, profits, or use of their property.

Babcock Partners was hired and immediately began negotiating with the insurance company seeking full coverage under the policies Associated Tires had paid premiums on for years. Tom Clark stated, “Within 30 days of being hired, Babcock Partners had negotiated a very favorable resolution to our situation.” With the funds from the insurance policy, Associated Tire Services was able to minimize their losses due to business interruption from the storm re-open their doors and continue to serve the community.
